LIVERPOOL – Liverpool defender Daniel Agger can not be forced to strengthen Danish team when try with central Russia this week. Agger broken rib injury and is expected to miss four weeks.

Obtained Agger injury when playing in the Carling Cup final to face Cardiff City last weekend. Agger had to be replaced in the 87th minute by Jamie Carragher from his injury.

As reported by The Independent, Thursday (03/01/2012), the news is a major blow to Kenny Dalglish as Martin Skrtel Agger with a doorstop mainstay in the heart of Liverpool’s defense.

In the Premier League this season, Agger has featured as many as 21 times. Liverpool defender Agger to look into the third highest after Jose Enrique (24) and Skrtel (23).

The first test of the Reds without a 27-year-old defender will occur on Saturday, March 3 at 19:45 pm the next day against Arsenal at Anfield.
