London – In the eyes of Brendan Rodgers, Clint Dempsey is an interesting player. Therefore do not be surprised if he is eyeing the Fulham player. It’s just not that Fulham would be easy to take it off.
Fulham had previously denied the news sites that have the Fenway Sports Group in Liverpool which is called if Dempsey has officially joined Liverpool.
Instead, the news was just confirmed by Liverpool. Rodgers himself finally spoke up. “Clint’s players simply DO is that we seek. Our Managing Director, Ian Ayre, the club has spoken with about our position. We were limited to that,” said Rodgers.
What is the attitude Fulham? Through his manager, Martin Jol, The Cottagers Dempsey said it will retain. However, Jol himself chose not to comment further.
“I do not want to talk about it,” said Jol in Sportinglife.
“I like Clint. He scored many goals for us and we want to defend it,” he said later.
For the record, Dempsey performed brilliantly last season, scoring 23 goals in all competitions. The amount is fairly productive for the size of a lineman.
