Brackley – Nico Rosberg was opening the possibility to move from his team now, Mercedes GP. Reportedly, Scuderia Ferrari going to be a new port for Rosberg. Really?

A source close to Rosberg did not dismiss when the German racer wants to race for Ferrari. Unnamed source told the tabloid Express in Cologne, Germany revealed: “Nico thought of Ferrari.”

On the Mercedes team, Mercedes Team Principal, Ross Brawn and Director Motorpsort Mercedes, Norbert Haug indicated they wanted to retain Rosberg until the contract expires. Rosberg contract valid until 2012.

“Normally you can go to the wrong team at the wrong time, which obviously this is a mistake to be avoided every driver,” said Haug, Monday (10/31/2011).

Interestingly, association of Rosberg to Ferrari took place shortly after the recent controversy involving Felipe Massa. The Brazilian racer was again involved an incident with his nemesis, Lewis Hamilton. Ferrari revealed they still respect the mass of the new contract that ends at the end of next season.

Rosberg himself in the drivers’ standings is ranked seventh with 75 points. His position was actually below the level of the drivers that will be replaced, Massa who finished sixth with 98 points.
