Milan – AC Milan midfielder Mark van Bommel has dismissed the rumors about his movement to Manchester City. This Dutch man is still at AC Milan and his family also feel comfortable living in the fashion city, Milan.

Rumors about City interest to Mark Van Bommel started to burst after Patrick Vieira retired on 14 July. Van Bommel did not deny that the City ever interested in him, but he insisted that he wouldn’t move there.

“City is one of the clubs who wanted me last winter, but AC Milan has a clear position and I can live with it.” said Van Bommel to Voetbal International, quoted from Eurosport , Wednesday (8/31/2011).

“I feel good as a footballer , and here at AC Milan, I feel appreciated. Besides my family also like this city,” he said.

This 34-year-old midfielder immediately appear with the Rossoneri since brought in mid-season. He appeared in 14 games and bring AC Milan to grasp Serie A Scudetto in the 2010/2011 season.
